Download the latest zip file and extract the `super-simple-google-analytics` directory. 2. Upload the this directory inside your `/wp-content/plugins/` directory. 3. Activate ‘Super Simple Google Analytics’ on the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress. 4. Click ‘Settings’ underneath the plugin or navigate to Settings > Google Analytics and insert your GA tracking code and click the checkbox to turn it on. 5. Jula 2017. This plugin in spite of its simplicity appears to be outdated: I inserted my UA number (that Google assigned to my site) and the plugin accepted only the first 8 digits out of 9…. I realized that only after some days, when the statistics of my site were still stuck to zero!! In addition to that, the support appears to be discontinued since some years. If not updated, I think it better should to be removed from the repository, because it is completely useless and to be replaced by another plugin.
