Opis
Koalab Quote is a quote builder for the people who sell: store managers and sales advisors. It is not a “request a quote” button for customers. Your team builds the quote right from your WooCommerce store and sends it in seconds.
A floating Create quote button appears on the store for users who can manage WooCommerce (administrators and shop managers). Customers never see it and never load any of its files.
What you can do
- Quote from the cart or by search. Pull the products from the cart or search by name or SKU. Change quantities and unit prices, and apply a discount to the total as a percentage or a fixed amount. The real cart and the product prices are never touched.
- Taxes from WooCommerce. Each line uses the product's tax class and your store's tax rates. If your shop shows prices including tax (the usual for VAT/IVA in Latin America), the quote shows the tax those prices contain. If it shows prices excluding tax, the tax is added on top. Products with a zero rate are marked as exempt.
- A branded document. Your logo, colors, tax ID (NIT, RFC, CUIT, RUT, RUC…), address and contact. The document also lists the customer, the sales advisor, the products, the totals, your terms and an optional warranty or payment block.
- Export and share. Download a Letter-size PDF or a PNG image. On phones, the image opens the share sheet, so you can send it straight to WhatsApp. On desktop, “Copy image” copies the quote so you can paste it into WhatsApp Web or an email.
- Numbered history. Every quote gets a consecutive number (QT-0001, QT-0002…). You can reopen, search or duplicate it from the panel or from the dashboard.
- Works with any theme. The panel is self-contained and does not depend on your theme.
- Ready for Latin America. The labels and phone formats adapt to the store's country, and every text is translatable.
Premium
Koalab Quote premium is a separate plugin, sold outside WordPress.org. It adds:
- Up to 3 brands per site (unlimited on the Agency plan), each with its own logo, colors, tax ID and numbering
- Two more templates: Modern and Minimal
- Custom templates: start from Classic, Modern or Minimal and adjust the typeface, logo size, spacing, table style, visible parts and texts, with a live preview. Up to 3 per site (unlimited on the Agency plan)
- Turning a quote into a “Pending payment” order, with a payment link to send by WhatsApp or email
- A private customer link where the customer sees the quote, downloads the PDF and accepts or declines it online
- Quote statuses (not sent, sent, accepted, declined, order created, expired) and expiry reminders
- Sales advisors to pick from on each quote, plus a quotes-only account for external sellers
- Reports per advisor (amount quoted, acceptance, orders and paid) and CSV export
- Agency plan: white label, unlimited brands and custom templates, and custom CSS per template
External services
This plugin uses the Freemius SDK to handle licenses and updates for the premium version. Freemius collects data only after the site administrator explicitly opts in on the opt-in screen. If you opt in, Freemius receives the site URL, the WordPress, PHP and plugin versions, the admin email and the active plugins and theme. The plugin does not contact any other external service. Quotes, PDFs and images are generated on your own site and in your own browser.

Instalacija
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- Install Koalab Quote from Plugins Add New, or upload the zip, then activate it.
- Go to Quotes Settings and fill in your company data, logo and colors.
- Open your store while logged in as an administrator or shop manager, then click Create quote.

Does it change my prices or the customer's cart?

No. A quote is a separate record. The cart and the product prices stay as they are.

How are taxes calculated?

Taxes come from WooCommerce: the product's tax class and the rates for your store's base location. The setting WooCommerce Settings Tax “Display prices in the shop” decides whether quoted prices include tax or not.

Where is the PDF generated?

In the browser of the person who exports it. No files are sent to external servers.

Can a developer build a template in code?

Yes, in every version. Add the template's name with the
klbq_templatesfilter and register its layout in JavaScript asKoalabQuoteDoc.templates['my-template'] = function ( vm, U ) { … }, in a script that depends onklbq-doc, enqueued on theklbq_enqueue_panelaction. With the premium version, also add its handle with theklbq_doc_script_handlesfilter (and your stylesheet withklbq_doc_style_handles) so the customer link draws it too. Thevmobject carries the quote ready to print andUthe shared pieces (U.h,U.itemsTable,U.totalsBlock…) used by the bundled templates. -
Does it work with my theme or page builder?

Yes. The panel and the document use their own scoped styles and do not depend on the theme.
